I've recently just discovered Joni's music and my god does it add to the enrichment of life. What a voice! What a talent! There is nothing here that adds to the superficial payoff of the moment which most things we consume do, which then are readily forgotten. Joni's presence lasts a lifetime.

My sentiments exactly! Born in LA, got some sense to me moved to Bay Area...so expensive as well as breathtakingly beautiful. Big Sur, SF, Marin, Bodega Bay....yup....had to move back to LA & that didn't last long....moved the hell out of there, a few states over! WAY too much crime, hatred, violence, road rage, blah, blah...When I hear this song, it reminds me of the "good old daze"

There were three ( well,four,strictly speaking) singer/songwriting geniuses in the late 20th century. Lennon&McCartney, Dylan and Joni Mitchell. Joni is magical.
