Saw SRV at the old Capitol Theater In Passaic,NJ back in the mid 1980`s - he blew away the crowd in the know - from the standard rippin` blues to Hendrix to his own rock, there`s been no one to match his soul.Sad day in 1990 when he passed

Awesome, I saw an old interview with him, and he actually owned Jimi's old wha pedal, how cool is that?Truly last of the guitar heros.

well thats what it says in his wikipedia pageSome blues greats say that "Vaughan can play Hendrix better than Hendrix himself."
cgravier (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)

Hmm. I don't have the actual Electric Ladyland album, but rather a couple of Jimi's Greatest Hits compilations, so both of them apparently misspelled the title as Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). Interesting, but I guess not surprising. |
